I have been busy preparing for my audition this weekend for the Vancouver Symphony. I'm happy to announce that the hard work paid off as I was awarded the Principal Trombone job!

The audition was well-organized, to the point, and efficiently run. I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new trombone players.

Vancouver is really gearing up for the olympics, wish I could be there earlier to experience it. Thanks to Bob Kastner for yummy sushi suggestions on my first night there. The city is beautiful and my family and I can't wait to learn more about it!

Thank you Bill Z, Rusty M, Larry Z, Craig M, Bob T, and Charlie R for listening to my mock auditions and not mocking me!!
